Set My Upload Page Address

The only thing you must set up to activate your upload page is your upload page web address, also known as your upload page URL. All the remaining settings are optional, though highly recommended.

To set or change your upload page web address:

Go to your Encyro account and click on Settings and then click Brand, Upload Page in the settings menu.

Create Upload Page

If you don’t have an upload page yet, follow these steps to create one.

1. Under the heading “Your Upload Page,” click Create.
2. You may type a name for yourself and/or your business in the boxes provided, but this is optional.
3. Under “Create Upload Page,” in the box following /, enter a brand name based on your business name. Note that spaces are not allowed. Use only letters and numbers. Dashes can be used if needed.
   • For instance, if your business name is Alice and Bob Company, you could enter “aliceandbob” or other name to reflect your brand.
   • If you have a LinkedIn profile with a custom name such as https://www.linkedin.com/in/yourbusinessname or a Facebook page such as https://www.facebook.com/yourbusinessname, we recommend that you try to use the same business name on Encyro to maintain consistent branding.
4. Click Continue. If the name you entered is available, it will now be reserved and activated for you.
5. You may enter contact information (such as phone, fax, address, etc.) in the boxes provided, or leave them blank. Then, click “Continue.”
6. Optionally, you can upload a logo or photo by clicking “Upload” under the Logo or Photo sections. These will be shown on your upload page. If you do not upload them, they will simply not be shown. Click “Continue.”
7. You may configure themes for your upload page. Click “Continue” to proceed without customizing, or c lick “Preview and Customize” to customize the theme. When you’re done, click “Apply Theme.”
8. On the next screen that appears, click “Continue.” That’s it!

Edit Existing Upload Page URL

If you already have an upload page and want to change the URL, follow the instructions below.

Under the heading “Your Upload Page,” your upload page address will be displayed to you. Below that, there will be an Edit button. Click that.

In the box provided, enter your new upload page address. Click the small checkmark to save the new URL.

Note: These instructions are for a standalone Encyro Pro account. If your account is part of an organization, see organization settings instructions.

Upload Page QR Code

If customers need to share files (such as a photo of their insurance card, identity documents or other paperwork) with you when meeting in-person or at your front desk, then you can use the upload page QR code to make the process easier. Download and print a QR code for your upload page and place it on your desk. Customers can then point their phone camera at it to securely send you files or photos.

Steps for you:

1. Log into your Encyro account if you haven’t already.
2. Click Settings in the left menu.
3. Click Brand, upload page.
4. Ensure you have an upload page set up.
5. Click Get QR Code.
6. A QR code for your upload page will be downloaded as a PDF file. You can now print it out and place it on your desk.

Steps for your client:

1. They open the camera app on their phone.
2. They point their phone camera at your upload page QR code.
3. A banner that says encyro.com appears on their phone screen. They tap it.
4. Your upload page opens. They can now use it to send you secure files and/or a message. They may use also the Take Photo button on that page to securely attach a picture of their documents without having those pictures saved to their phone.
